Hello everyone! My name is Alexandria Kriz and I am currently a senior at Florida State University, pursuing a major in political science as well as a minor in criminology. After college, I plan to attend a law school where I will continue my education and obtaining the knowledge as well as skills required to pursue a legal career. My long-term goal is to practice contract law and hopefully one day become managing partner at a legal firm. Outside of academics, I enjoy traveling throughout the United States and foreign countries. So far, I have been to over 30 states and six nations across Europe. Once the global pandemic has settled, I hope to visit Egypt, Australia, and Japan. Also, I am an avid sports fan with my favorite teams being the Tampa Bay Bucs and Lighting, both of which have the potential to once again become national champions. In my free time, I take pleasure in going to the beach and being outdoors either boating, hiking, or playing sports. 

Over the last four years, technology has played an integral role in my educational journey as online resources have become a defining feature of learning. Much of my undergraduate coursework has been completed online on sites like Canvas, Google Classroom, and Pearson online learning. In addition, I have become regularly acquainted with the Microsoft and Apple applications such as pages, word, powerpoint, keynote, etc. Outside of occasional powerpoint presentations, I have little experience with utilizing technology in a teaching setting but I look forward to learning how to employ online resources in an instructional form. 

The recent global pandemic has significantly altered my personal learning network as I have become more reliant on online learning resources. My personal learning network consists of two different dimensions that are observed at an academic and social level. Academically, I utilize online resources such as Zoom, Canvas, Youtube, and Quizlet to learn new material both visually as well as audibly. Additionally, my learning abilities are aided by my professors and peers who help guide my comprehension of course material. Whereas, when applied to social aspects my personal learning network consists of social media platforms such as Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram where I can observe the latest trends as well as entertainment.
