Blog Post: New PLN Tool

 An online PLN tool that has not been discussed during class and would be useful for teachers is YouTube . This tool allows both teachers and students to access a wealth of educational content that can enhance learning experiences through stimulating creativity, discussion, and knowledge. Teachers can utilize YouTube in the classroom to provide context to course material by watching short clips of documentaries as well as engage students who are visual learners. In addition, YouTube has step-by-step videos that explain how to solve different kinds of equations which is especially helpful for math teachers. Most importantly, this tool provides teachers with access to high-quality educational instruction videos at no cost by taking advantage of the platforms section called YouTubeEdu.
